About Madeley Academy
Madeley Academy is a community, co-educational comprehensive secondary school for day students aged 11-16. We are a designated Specialist Sports College.
Madeley Academy is in the fortunate position of working in partnership with Thomas Telford City Technology College. We recently initiated an ongoing refurbishment program to allow us to enhance and maintain our facilities, and provide the best environment possible for staff and students.
Our designation as a specialist sports college has allowed us to offer our students marvellous opportunities in Physical Education and Sports. It also enables all subjects to benefit from the increased funding which is directed to improving teaching and learning in the school. As a result, we are bringing new resources and opportunities into the school which will further enrich the academic life of our students.
The site is shared with both the Madeley Sports Centre and the Madeley Ski Slope, and this enables us to offer our students a wide range of facilities to help them in their learning.
