The national curriculum is delivered to all students. Subject areas include:

In addition Religious Education, Personal, Social, Health and Sex Education and Citizenship are delivered as part of the entitlement curriculum.
Additional sessions are arranged in Session 5 of the school day, which include cultural, sporting, musical, and other activities available for all students.
ICT ProvisionThere are 4 permanent ICT suites in the building, and these are supplemented by our well equipped CAD/CAM suite and our new wireless laptop fleet that can be used to create another suite if required. Every teaching room is also equipped with a PC.
SMARTBoards and digital projectors have been installed in every teaching area to provide an interactive facility for teaching and learning.
We have an Online Digital Curriculum, and the entire curriculum is available on line for students and staff.
Special Education NeedsThe Academy is a comprehensive school and admits students from across the whole range of ability. Students with special needs and disabilities are offered maximum access to the curriculum through the focused use of ICT, as well as being well provisioned and assisted by our SEN and Curriculum Support Teams.

Students will be set homework each session in accordance with the Academy's Homework Policy. Parents will be encouraged to support their child with managing their homework timetable.
