MP3/Personal Music Players
MP3 and other personal music players can have a negative effect on student learning, and are a cause of conflict with teachers during lessons. They are therefore banned from the building.
Mobile Phones
The Academy's advice is that mobile phones should not be brought into the building. The academy will not take responsibility or investigate any loss or theft. If mobile phones are taken out or used in the building, they may be confiscated and collected at the end of the day from the academy office. Persistant offenders may result in parents/carers being asked to come into the building to collect phones.
