At Madeley Academy we believe that smartly dressed students create a positive image of themselves and of the school. This in turn can help students obtain employment or a place in further education or training.
A high standard of personal appearance is expected of all students and anyone arriving at school in non-uniform clothing may expect to be sent home to get changed. Fashion garments, hoodies, caps and trainers are not allowed.
In exceptional circumstances, students inappropriately dressed may be provided with the appropriate garment(s) by the school as a temporary measure.
